Laelia’s 3rd Birthday Celebration!

Birthday Girl!

Laelia wanted to be  a “Lalibug” for her birthday.

Let’s start over. The day started with a free balloon from Albertsons. Yes! Best day ever!

Followed by birthday cuddles. She was so excited about her birthday!

Then cake decorating. I take no credit for this cake. She went through Albertsons picking out her toppings. She was very opinionated and got everything she wanted.

This was hard to push out of the tube.

Ta da! Yes those are gummy bears and mini  Oreos! :)

The finished product before we cut it. She blew out her candle with the help of Grandpa Gary.

More cake please!

One of the little boys at the park threw our frisbee into our little group. It hit Laelia’s plate that Adam was holding for her and flipped the cake out of her plate, up in the air and back down into the frisbee!

Laelia begged for more cake after that.

This is a game we call “hit a ball with some plastic bowling pins while Josh checks the score on his phone and we all get a break from the kidlets.” :)

Laelia was surrounded by presents!

Some of the bags are bigger than she is.  She LOVES her presents! Thanks everyone so so so much!

We had a small group that met at the park to celebrate Laelia turning three next week. Lali didn’t get the concept of throwing a party a week early when it wasn’t her birthday, so she is convinced that last Sunday was October 3rd. :) We threw the party early since Adam and Chelsea will be in Germany on her actual birthday and she wanted them to celebrate with her. Besides being a very hot day, we had fun!

Aw, that looks like it was so fun! Happy early b-day to Lali, and sorry again that we couldn’t be there.

p.s. I LIKE the cake! Tell Lali from me that I see a little artist blossoming. Kudos to you for encouraging creativity. =)
